THE UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA’S COLLEGE AT WISE – Registrar worker Narda N. Porter sent out an email on Feb 16, 2021, telling students that the course schedule for summer classes is now available.
There will be two different summer sessions this year. The first one being from May 24 to June 25 and the second being from July 6 to Aug. 6. It is recommended to make an appointment with one’s advisor as soon as possible to discus the possible options for taking summer classes. Registration begins March 26.
During these summer sessions 21 different subjects are going to be offered. Those being Accounting, Administration of Justice, Art, Astronomy, Biology, Business, Chemistry, Communications, Computer Science, Economics, English, Health Education, History, Math, Music, Natural Science, Political Science, Psychology, Religion, Sociology, and Spanish. Along with the 21 different subjects, there are over 75 courses that are going to be offered as well.
Summer is the perfect time to take advantage of getting ahead in courses or prerequisites that make it easier to move further along in one’s major. Along with getting ahead, summer classes are the perfect time to make up coursework or retake a course.
