Merry Lu Prior, Provost Sandy Huguenin, Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration Sim Ewing, and Chair of the Natural Sciences Department Margie Tucker shovel soil over the roots of a sugar maple tree at the Nov. 30 dedication of the tree to the late chancellor David J. The University of Virginia’s Board of Visitors is set to approve the college’s next chancellor at a meeting this Friday and will publicly announce the hire immediately after, officials said.
