The UVa-Wise chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success is hosting their seventh annual Campus Shoebox Campaign, which will run through Nov. 18.
The shoebox campaign is designed to help children all over the world with necessary hygiene supplies as well as toys for the Christmas season.
“A shoebox is a once-in-a-lifetime gift for the majority of these children,” Director of Student Engagement Stephanie Shell said.
This event will run until Nov. 18, when all finalized boxes are to be returned. Students can donate to the campaign and all donations can be dropped off at either the Office of Student Engagement in Crockett Hall or to the Office of Compliance and Inclusion in Cantrell Hall.
The goal of the NSLS with this campaign is to see it continue in order to positively affect children all over the world and make their Christmases more enjoyable.
