Staff changes

24 Feb , 2012

Beginning with this issue, I will be assuming the role of editor-in-chief of the Highland Cavalier.

Last semester I worked as copy editor and often as photo editor, enjoying both jobs quite a bit. With the opening of the editor-in-chief position, I decided that I’d like to become more involved in the organization and production of the paper. While I’ll still be copy editing, I will also be working more directly with writers and layout and determining new ways to produce a quality paper that the readers will look forward to every Friday.

In order to cater to our audience, and so I can constantly work to make this paper better, I invite suggestions and critiques. I want to know what you like and don’t like or what you want to see — my inbox welcomes your feedback.

Serving on the paper in this capacity in an honor and a challenge and I will work diligently to oversee a paper of which we can be proud.
